The Rev came with David and Kristen Prahl on their two week trip traveling through Mexico.  The attached pictures are from the hostel patio in Mexico City.

Hello from the Powell's

Hello,

 

We had the opportunity to have our niece, Elizabeth spend a weekend with us.  Ray and Elizabeth went to a Clydesdale farm in Ripon and had a blast..  Definitely worth it if you have never gone.  They give an hour tour.

 

We spent a day in Door County so Rev made it to Northport to check out the view.  It was pretty awesome.

 

We made our last stop in Manitowoc at the Maritime Marina and toured the USS Cobia submarine.  Karla and Elizabeth are in the mess hall.

 

Rev went to an outdoor movie, go-carting, and mini golfing too.  Needless to say Rev, Ray, and I were exhausted after 3 days of fun.

 

 

Revs on the Road to Seattle and Long Beach WA

We recently took three Revs on the road to Seattle, WA and then for a side
trip to the Pacific Ocean out in Long Beach, WA.
You'll note from the pictures, that the Revs:
*Visited Pikes Market and saw the flying fish -- there are two of them
amidst the fish
*Two of them ganged up on the third and buried him in sand at Long Beach.
*Had a ball playing amidst the sand castles we built (yes, complete with
moat, lake & bridge (until the tide came in)
*One Rev got brave and sailed out into the Pacific (we contemplated doing a
Survivor episode, putting them through some
more daring feats to see which Rev survived, but decided they'd all like to
continue their travels).
*Enjoyed the car ride to the beach & even saw a deer in the roadway.
*Enjoyed a Nordic Festival and hanging with a Viking in front of a large
Viking ship (Ann and Bill Loehrke & their 3
year-old nephew Lucas were also there)
*And, drove past the Space Needle, even though they didn't get to stop ...
so much to see & do and so little time :-)

We all had tons of fun and the Revs remained happy throughout the trip. We
also took them to some great restaurants for seafood.

Rev on the Road with Alayna Werner and Katherine Newman at Camp Luther

Rev on the road went to Camp Luther with us.   He took several naps and enjoyed the view from the window.   We had alot of fun.
